Heritage Martial Arts Academy Terms & Conditions These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) apply to all members, students, and parents/guardians of minors training at Heritage Martial Arts Academy (“the Academy”). By registering or attending classes, you agree to the following: Membership & Fees Memberships are personal and non-transferable. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. The Academy may adjust fees with reasonable notice. Attendance & Conduct Members are expected to attend classes regularly, show respect to instructors, staff, and peers, and follow Academy rules. Unsafe behaviour, bullying, or misconduct may result in suspension or termination without refund. Children & Youth Members Parents/guardians must complete registration and waiver forms for members under 18. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult until class begins and should be collected promptly after training. The Academy does not provide childcare services outside scheduled class times. Safety & Training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a contact martial art with inherent risks. Members must follow instructor directions at all times, use protective equipment as advised, and respect their training partners. Unsafe techniques, rough conduct, or disregard for rules may result in removal from class. Health & Medical Members must disclose relevant medical conditions before training. The Academy is not liable for injuries arising from undisclosed conditions. Anyone unwell, injured, or showing infectious symptoms should not attend. Facilities & Equipment Members must use facilities and equipment responsibly. Damage caused by negligence may result in repair costs. Clean uniforms and good hygiene are mandatory. Liability Waiver Participation in martial arts involves risks of injury. By joining the Academy, members (and guardians of minors) accept these risks and release the Academy, its instructors, and staff from liability for injuries, accidents, or damages, except in cases of proven negligence. Media Consent Classes and events may be photographed or filmed for Academy use. Members wishing not to appear must inform the Academy in writing. Termination The Academy reserves the right to suspend or end memberships for breach of these T&C, non-payment, or conduct harmful to the Academy community. By enrolling, members and guardians confirm they understand and accept these Terms & Conditions.
